Ruth, an active member of the drama and theater club at school, has a passion for acting and performing arts. In her free time, she enjoys dancing with other children and teaching them new dance styles. Ruth is known for her dedication to her studies and is one of the top students academically in her class. With a love for reading, Ruth aspires to become a doctor when she grows up. However, Ruth's well-being took a turn one week ago when she began complaining of headaches accompanied by abdominal pains. The pain has progressively worsened over the days, leading her to seek medical attention at the hospital.

Pt who came in with complains of headache on and off relived on consumption of paracetamol with associated abdominal pains.the patient was not on any respiratory distress,R/S-chest clear,CVS-S1 and S2 present,P/A-mild tenderness on umbilical region.ENT-normal Laboratory work up was done and medication given after a diagnosis of malaria was made. She was put on antimalarial injection for 24hrs followed by oral mediation. Antibiotics were also given to cover the septicaemia. Ruth is progressing well, she came for a follow up visit after completion of the antimalarial and antibiotic dose and was confirmed to be of perfect health

The widespread inflammation and organ damage caused by septicemia can result in dysfunction or failure of multiple organs, such as the lungs, kidneys, liver, and heart, if not treated. Broad-spectrum antibiotics are administered intravenously as soon as possible to fight the infection causing the septicemia. Malaria should be treated promptly with the use of antimalarial drugs. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications and even death. It can result in organ failure, severe anemia, neurological issues, and in some cases, prove fatal, making early diagnosis and treatment crucial for preventing these life-threatening consequences.
