Helpster is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that operates as a mobile application, providing a platform for fundraising to support the treatment of children in need living in remote regions. Our aim is to make the process of raising funds for vital healthcare easy, transparent, and efficient.

Our project
At Helpster, we are actively involved in developing an infrastructure that connects hospitals, volunteers, children in need, and patrons. This comprehensive project also includes the validation of both the hospital and the child's case to ensure that we support genuine and deserving cases. We form partnerships with hospitals and non-profit organizations, referred to as "Partners," who collect and provide us with information about Patients in need of medical treatment. In turn, Helpster reimburses the costs associated with the medical treatment provided to these Patients.

Our primary mission is to save lives by funding access to vital healthcare worldwide and create a movement of heroes. We are committed to ensuring that no child suffers or dies simply because they lack the financial means to pay for basic healthcare. Through our fundraising efforts, we are dedicated to providing an opportunity for these children to receive the medical treatment they urgently need.

Yes, you can donate once, or buy a monthly subscription and have a certain number of donations you can distribute among the children you want to help.
If you don’t chose who you want to donate to during a month, the subscription money will be randomly distributed among the children in need.

Mortality, caused by an absence of access to the vital healthcare due to inability to pay hospital bills is one of the most critical injustices in today's world.
The global community has not yet developed the mechanisms for dealing with such a problem in a scaling and effective way.

Children in the least developed countries are the most vulnerable group in terms of limited access to healthcare. 1 billion children worldwide are multidimensionally poor.

1. Costs for one-time treatment should be no more than 5 000 USD per child
2. Age is between 0 and 18 years old
3. Chronic diseases are accepted if medical care is vital and if it brings a chance of having a normal life (example: sickle cell anemia, dangerous types of diabetics etc.)
4. Cases that need a surgery or vital medication, including urgent ones (such as appendicitis, malaria etc.), are accepted and preferred
5. Rightful guardians must be of low income which is not enough to pay for hospital bills

Yes, all of the stories in our blog are real down to the smallest detail. We collect the reports from our patients and gather permissions to share their stories with the wider public.
About 95% of every donation made on Helpster directly funds healthcare for the kid you choose. We pay from the donation amount the credit card processing fees, international bank transaction fees and currency exchange rate. On average it's 5% but varies from case to case.
Our other operating expenses are covered separately by philanthropists and donors who donate money to the Helpster team.
